Biography
I was born in a suburb of Birmingham, Ala, and have called it home for my entire life. I grew up a true Auburn University football fan, and always knew that Auburn would be a part of my future. My father is an Auburn graduate, my oldest sister attended Auburn and my other sister received her doctorate degree from Auburn. So, Auburn truly is in my blood.
When it came time to make the life-changing decision of where to go to college, I chose Auburn because I couldn't imagine it not being where I was to spend the most exciting four years of my life. That's exactly what Auburn has been to me. I have grown as a woman at Auburn, and have learned through my classes, extracurricular activities and friendships who I want to become in the future.
I have had the privilege to study at Auburn, and learn from some of the most challenging and inspiring professors. When I chose to pursue a public relations degree, I couldn't imagine how much I would grow to love it. I am most excited about working in a profession in which I will continue learning every day.
Following this semester I will be completing a summer internship at McNeely, Pigott and Fox Public Relations in Nashville, Tenn., after which I will graduate in August 2007.
